Bettina Campolucci Bordi is a chef specializing in plant-based cuisine. Of Norwegian, Bulgarian, and Danish heritage, she grew up in Tanzania, where she learned to cook with fresh ingredients. During vacations, she developed her love of cooking with her two grandmothers in Bulgaria and Sweden. She also became familiar with preservation and foraging techniques.
After a career in the hospitality industry and managing wellness retreats, she turned to plant-based cuisine, which proved effective in addressing her health issues.
Today, Bettina runs Bettina’s Kitchen & Bettina’s Kitchen Academy offering culinary retreats, Retreat Chef training, plant-based cooking workshops, and recipe books. She promotes a local, seasonal, and sustainable diet while challenging the idea that plant-based cuisine is boring and expensive.
Very logically, she supports the actions of Beans is How.
