Who are we ?

We are those who love the words positive, other, exchange, gift, sharing, synergy, sustainable… and above all ACTION!

Mini Manifesto

Action: act a little or a lot… but act!

Tolerance: whatever the personal motivations that lead to action – religious or political convictions, a personal need to act… it doesn’t matter! Far from dogmatism, our sole aim is to bring initiatives to light in order to inspire.

All subjects: all areas are important, from environmental and societal issues to food and social inclusion. All sectors are equally important to us.

Indulgence: no one is perfect, and only those who act take the risk of making mistakes. Let’s always look at the positive first.

Positive: we believe that constructive discourse is more likely to win people over… Joining a project means contributing to the great emulsion, the Positive Mayo!

Introducing theteam

Founder and Managing Director

Catherine Guérin trained as a translator-interpreter. She has always loved speaking languages and meeting other cultures, leading her to become a public relations consultant. Professionally active for over 30 years in the world of international gastronomy (www.toquesconnection.com), she has repeatedly noted the sensitivity of hospitality players to the ills of our world.

Many chefs are getting involved, supporting initiatives, launching projects and setting up organizations. A little or a lot, at home or elsewhere, at one time or another, they like to get involved.

Beyond the impact, the pleasure they get from ACTING is luminous. This light is the hope that, together, we can make a difference in all areas. Let’s not give up, let’s not be afraid.

She founded Positive Mayo because she knows that action contains the seeds of constructive enthusiasm. Commitment is truly gratifying. Positive Mayo is an antidote to fatalistic pessimism. The more of us there are, the better the mayonnaise will work!

Her motto: “The secret of change is to focus your energy on creating the new, not fighting the old” (Dan Miller).

Laetitia Gouttenoire holds a master’s degree in communications from the Sorbonne. She is passionate about intercultural exchanges.

She has always combined the ability to listen and analyze with a thirst for action and commitment. Professionally, her career path illustrates her need to be useful to the development of various organizations, such as the Paul Bocuse Foundation, for which she spent several years developing workshops for children and teenagers to raise awareness of the catering professions.

She is an active volunteer for the association Féminité Sans Abris.

Since 2018 she has been an expert consultant supporting committed organizations, which she helps to optimize their social impact: defining their raison d’être, structuring and managing their sponsorship policy, creating foundations, endowment funds…

Her motto: “To be able to find joy in the joy of others: that is the secret of happiness” (Georges Bernanos).

Our business model

Positive Mayo is an inspiring tool to get things moving.

We have chosen to operate as an independent, autonomous structure in the form of a company, a status that allows us to be reactive and free in our governance.

We do not claim to be eligible for any subsidies or other official grants.
However, we remain committed to our vocation, and Positive Mayo must build a model that will enable us to live, develop and thus last over time.

Our financing methods are :

  • Partnerships
  • The sale of support services to companies through our COMMITMENT PACKAGE.

5% of these revenues go into a special fund we call La Cagnotte Mayo, which will be used to support specific projects chosen by the community we’re building.
