Bondir.e

Passionate about their profession and determined to change the world for the good of all, some twenty female chefs have co-founded the Bondir.e association, with the mission of combating all forms of violence in the hotel and restaurant industry. Their mantra? “Gentle words rather than malicious acts. Words rather than silences that offend and damage. Smiles rather than negative attitudes. The collective rather than the individual.”

These dedicated activists, now joined by a number of men in the profession, run prevention campaigns with hotel school students to protect and educate the younger generation. These interventions, developed with the help of the Nous Toustes association, are based on their experience in the world of catering and on a legal foundation.

Active today in several French cities (and now in Belgium), Bondir.e not only denounces violence, it actively supports victims and encourages a healthier, more respectful working environment. “There’s another way to do it. Gentler and more effective. With Bondir(e), we want to blaze a new trail.”
