Singapore-born chef Willment Leong began his culinary career at the Westin Stamford Singapore, before joining the pioneering team at the luxurious Raffles Hotel. Since then, he has held a number of management positions in renowned establishments in Southeast Asia. He has also helped train and coach candidates for culinary competitions, winning several medals and trophies in the process. As a true mentor to young Thai chefs, Willment Leong has enabled many of them to enter international competitions. Today, the chef is president of the World Chefs Without Borders initiative: “I firmly believe that hunger should not be tolerated anywhere in the world. I also believe that fundraising is the delicate art of teaching the joy of giving, and for this particular reason, I’m asking for your help. ! “

Worldchefs is a non-political professional organization dedicated to maintaining and improving culinary standards in kitchens across the globe. The organization achieves its goals every day through providing education, awareness-raising and professional development to its members. A number of initiatives, such as Feed the Planet and World Chef Without Borders, can be credited to them.
Feed the Planet is a global network of passionate chefs committed to building a sustainable food system for all. Associated since 2016 with the Electrolux Food Foundation and AIESEC, today it aspires to bring about social change through a dynamic collaborative effort.
World Chefs Without Borders is a global humanitarian aid initiative whose mission is to support and mobilize the network of chefs to educate and provide resources to people in need and affected by natural disasters.
