Chef

Yann Couvreur

The son of a bookseller, Yann Couvreur discovered pastry-making as a teenager during a school internship. A click… then a learning curve and, finally, a passion. He perfected his talent with famous chefs, who led him to develop a pastry where sweet and savory borrow the same codes of cooking, seasoning and condiments as classic cuisine. He is renowned for his natural, preservative-free work, which respects the seasons, and his airy, diaphanous creations, with just the right sweetness every time. Yann is also attentive to the world outside his stores, and likes being involved with the non-profit Tout le Monde contre le Cancer.

Association

Tout le monde contre le cancer

The announcement of a cancer diagnosis disrupts the daily lives of patients and their families. The association Tout le monde contre le cancer supports patients and their families through a variety of initiatives, including the now-famous Toques en truck, which gives families affected by cancer the opportunity to bring patients, families and carers together around a table to enjoy a gourmet meal in the open air! An annual event that transforms the hospital into an outdoor café for a day, to help people forget their illness. Many chefs are involved in this highly-anticipated tour. Conviviality and sharing are key ingredients in the recipe for success.
