Gadens Børn
Gadens Børn is an association founded in 2012 by Pia Lindell Qwist, who became aware of what children left to their own devices on the streets go through during a trip to Kolkata, India. She then launched this non-profit organization to help children and young people in socially vulnerable situations. The aim is to intervene on several fronts with different programs: education, health, access to food, activities in the slums, a home for girls… Thanks to 14 projects, every day in Kolkata, the association helps more than 1,200 children and young women achieve a better and brighter future.
