A professor of cooking at Humber College in Toronto, Shonah Chalmers is recognized for her expertise and commitment to sustainable food. The chef is also vice-president of Feed the Planet, an organization founded by Worldchefs, Fondation Electrolux Food and AIESEC. Feed the Planet brings together chefs committed to the transition to a safer food system. Shonah Chalmers’ cuisine respects local and seasonal foods, which she uses in their entirety, avoiding waste. Feed the Planet is a global network of passionate chefs committed to building a sustainable food system for all. Associated since 2016 with the Electrolux Food Foundation and AIESEC, today it aspires to bring about social change through a dynamic collaborative effort.
World Chefs Without Borders is a global humanitarian aid initiative whose mission is to support and mobilize the network of chefs to educate and provide resources to people in need and affected by natural disasters.
