There’s still time for the Refugee Food Festival France, which runs until June 24!
The Refugee Food Festival creates culinary collaborations between refugee cooks and local restaurants or food artisans, in a dozen towns in France and Europe, each year around June 20, World Refugee Day. Everyone works together in a spirit of joy and sharing.
The festival was created by the Refugee Food organization, so it also involves:
- La Résidence, a social integration restaurant dedicated to refugee cooks.
- Food aid and meal distribution for the neediest people
- Catering service
- Training programs
In short, nothing but good stuff!
