Nina Métayer is a French pastry chef renowned for her talent combining technical skill and creativity. She became the first woman to win the title of World Pastry Chef awarded by the International Union of Bakers and Pastry Chefs in 2023, before being crowned World’s Best Pastry Chef 2024 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
Nina Métayer defends a committed pastry-making approach, in favor of professional equality and a more responsible approach based on seasonality, short circuits and reduced waste. The pastry chef attaches great importance to passing on her skills, and wants to encourage young people to gain confidence in their talents and fight for their dreams.
She therefore decided to make a commitment to Apprentis d’Auteuil and play an active role in its educational and professional integration initiatives, by becoming, in 2025, godmother of the foundation, which supports over 40,000 young people every year.
