In France, when you think of pastry chefs, food critics and TV hosts, you immediately think of Mercotte. Although cooking was not an innate talent for her, her perfectionism and perseverance have made her a household name in the culinary world. With TV shows, a personal blog, cookery books and mobile apps, Mercotte is one of the icons of French gourmet cooking. Much in demand to support social and solidarity initiatives, she especially enjoys highlighting the fabulous work of the Ma Chance Moi Aussi! association, with which she sometimes works.
Association
Ma chance moi aussi (My chance too)
Ma Chance Moi Aussi is an association that works against social determinism in priority education areas. By supporting children in great vulnerability, those from families with educational fragility, the association is committed to supporting them through comprehensive and preventive support from the age of 6 and until the end of middle school if necessary. By working closely with families, schools and communities, the association transmits to them the fundamental values of our society so that they become active and responsible members, despite the social and educational obstacles they may face.
