An initiative by Refugee Food.
At the heart of La Cantine des Arbustes, a third-party food aid center in Paris (14th arrondissement), focused on accessibility to quality food: the space transforms throughout the day to offer a unique culinary and human experience, adapted to the needs of each individual! In the morning, the restaurant is open to all, while in the afternoon, the canteen becomes a shared kitchen for local families living in social housing.
Much more than just a place to eat, this welcoming space — where solidarity and kindness prevail — fosters social inclusion by bringing together a diverse community.
Here, everyone is welcome, everyone eats the same thing, but not at the same price 💛
The production manager, accompanied by 6 volunteers, prepares the same fair, tasty and balanced cuisine for everyone. Only the price varies according to individual resources:
Free for scholarship students (levels 5 to 8) and recipients of social benefits
Tarif préférentiel (carné 6€, végétarien 4,50€) pour tous les étudiants, sur évaluation des minimas sociaux ainsi que pour les résidents du foyer de migrant au-dessus de la Cantine
Reduced price (€6 meat / €4.50 vegetarian) for all students (based on eligibility for social benefits) as well as residents of the migrant housing above the canteen
