The Paul Bocuse Foundation is a public-interest foundation committed to passing on culinary expertise, training young talent, and supporting professional integration in the fields of gastronomy and hospitality, in the humanist spirit of Paul Bocuse.
The Foundation takes concrete action through:
- Scholarships and tailored support programs enabling young people from modest backgrounds to access excellence-driven training.
- Partnerships with social inclusion organizations, such as Sport dans la Ville, to guide young people toward careers in the restaurant and hospitality sectors.
- Solidarity initiatives that use gastronomy as a lever for inclusion and equal opportunities. For example, it launched the Her’itage program to recognize and promote the role of women in the culinary professions.
The Foundation also organizes educational and solidarity-based culinary workshops. Notably, its Educational Days and “Professional Conduct” Workshops are offered to middle schools and vocational institutions (hospitality schools, apprenticeship centers). These educational days reflect the Foundation’s commitment to supporting and guiding future professionals in discovering the business world.
The “Professional Conduct” workshops, led by professionals from diverse backgrounds, introduce young people to the codes and etiquette expected at a professional lunch: which cutlery to use, how to express themselves, and how to behave. These sessions also provide rare opportunities to raise awareness about appropriate conduct during future job interviews.
Through these initiatives, the Paul Bocuse Foundation promotes a vision of gastronomy as a tool for knowledge transmission, social advancement, and cohesion—where excellence goes hand in hand with a concrete commitment to youth and society.
