Let’s Chow<\/em> is a non-profit organization founded by chef Jordan Foley to help U.S. military veterans and their spouses get started in the culinary field.\nFollowing the suicide of one of his friends, who went into debt trying to open a restaurant, Jordan wondered what support this veteran had lacked to succeed. <\/p>\n\n

He has therefore set up a program that enables participants to learn culinary techniques, business management and even receive financial support to start their own food truck.\nThe idea is to enable them, through logistical and technical support, to benefit from on-the-job training in Let’s Chow<\/em> ‘s trucks, enabling them to become home chefs or launch their own food-truck or restaurant.\nThe profits generated by Let’s Chow<\/em> ‘s mobile kitchens are reinvested in culinary therapies, cookware donations and educational programs. <\/p>\n\n
