Since 2011, Good Food Co<\/a> (Philippines) has been turning consumers into co-producers through an alternative food system based on ecological and ethical agriculture. This idea, known as “community shared agriculture” supports small holder farmers and the local economy. The organization represents a genuine commitment to the future of the environment, biodiversity and the community. Several initiatives deserve to be highlighted, such as Friends-of-Farmers<\/a><\/em>, which helps protect farmers’ livelihoods against the climate emergency, or Food Today, Food Tomorrow<\/a><\/em>, which supports the mutual aid efforts of the urban poor in Metro Manila. Good Food Community upholds the right to food for all Filipinos and offers citizens concrete ways to be in solidarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
